The following items are needed to reach Level 450 in Alchemy. As you can see, having Herbalism as a skill can save you a great deal of gold by the time you reach Master and Grand Master level crafting.

The following items have different requirements – you will not craft them all but will have a choice between them when you approach Level 450:
- Flask of the Frost Wyrm – 5 Icethorn, 5 Lichbloom, 1 Frost Lotus, and 1 Enchanted Vial each.
- Flask of Stoneblood – 7 Lichbloom, 3 Crystallized Life, 1 Frost Lotus and 1 Enchanted Vialeach.
- Flask of Pure Mojo – 7 Icethorn, 3 Pygmy Oil, 1 Frost Lotus, and 1 Enchanted Vial each.
- Flask of Endless Rage – 7 Lichbloom, 3 Fire Leaf, 1 Frost Lotus, and 1 Enchanted Vial each.
Level 1-75
Train as an apprentice and start making Minor Healing Potions. You should craft these until you reach level 60 then start making Lesser Healing Potions until you reach level 75.
Level 75-150
Train as a Journeyman Alchemist and continue making Lesser Healing Potions until you reach Level 110. You should start making Healing Potions at Level 110 and continue until you reach Level 140. Start making Lesser Mana Potions at Skill Level 140 until you get the rest of the way to Level 150.
Level 150-225
Train to become an Expert Alchemist at Level 150 and continue making your Lesser Mana Potions until you reach 155. You should then start crafting Greater Healing Potions until you are at Level 185. Once you reach Level 185, you should start making Elixirs of Agility until you reach Level 210 and then start making Elixirs of Greater Defense to Reach 215 andSuperior Healing Potions to reach level 225.
Level 225 - 300
Train as an Artisan Alchemist and then start making Superior Healing Potions until you reach skill level 230. At Skill Level 230, make Elixir of Detect Undead until you reach Level 250 and then switch to Elixir of Greater Agility up to 265 and Superior Mana Potion until you reach level 285. At Level 285, craft Major Healing Potions until you can reach level 300 and move on to Outland.
Level 300-375
At Level 300, start by training with your Master Alchemy trainer in Hellfire Peninsula. Then, buy the Recipe: Major Dreamless Sleep Potion from Daga Rama in Thunderlord Stronghold or Leeli Longhaggle in Allerian Stronghold. You won’t need this for a little while yet but you should buy it as soon as possible since it is a rare recipe.
Start by making Volatile Healing Potions until you reach level 315. Follow up with Sneaking Potions until your each Level 330 and then start making Super Healing Potions until you reach Level 350. You can now use your Recipe to make Major Dreamless Sleep Potion until you reach Level 375.
Level 375-450
Start this section, after training as a Grand Master, by creating 10 Guru’s Elixirs to reach level 385. You should then make 10 Elixirs of Mighty Strength to reach Level 395 followed by enough more of these to reach Level 405. To reach Level 410, make 5 Runic Healing Potions.
Between Level 410 and 425, create Runic Mana Potions and at Level 425, start Transmuting Earthsiege Diamonds to reach Level 435. To complete the leveling process to Level 450, you can make any combination of 15 Flasks of the Frost Wyrm, Stoneblood, Pure Mojo, or Endless Rage (all four are listed above with their ingredients). Usually, the recipes you can get for these will decide which ones you make as you level though the ingredients can also have a solid effect as their costs vary a bit.
